Livvy Dunne is heartbroken she won’t get a proper LSU sendoff to her decorated gymnastics career.

The popular influencer and Tigers fifth-year senior revealed Thursday night she will miss her senior night on Friday against No. 10 Georgia due to a knee injury.

“Hi friends! Unfortunately I’ve been dealing with an avulsion fracture of my patella and will not be able to compete on senior night,” Dunne wrote on her Instagram Story.

“It absolutely breaks my heart to not get the opportunity to compete in the PMAC one last time. Tiger fans, you’ve been so good to me! Thank you for the endless support and as always Geaux Tigers! – Liv.”

Dunne, a New Jersey native, helped LSU win its first gymnastics national championship last season and returned this year for her final year of eligibility.

She last competed Jan. 24 against Auburn and has been limited to four events this season. Friday will mark her sixth straight absence.

No. 2 LSU will close out its regular season next week on the road against Auburn before competing in the SEC championships and the NCAA championships.

LSU coach Jay Clark praised his senior class ahead of the meet against the Bulldogs.

“We have a variety of seniors this year and they’ve all meant so much to the trajectory of this program in ways that go far beyond gymnastics,” Clark told the team website. “I’m grateful for all of our seniors every year because they leave an unforgettable mark on our program and on me personally.”

While Dunne has dealt with this injury, she’s still kept busy away from the gym.

She recently served as the Grand Marshal of the Krewe of Endymion parade in New Orleans in advance of Mardi Gras and documented the scene for her 5.3 million Instagram followers.

Dunne is dating MLB NL Rookie of the Year and Pirates ace Paul Skenes.
